Jessica Federico

Owner/Benefits Consultant

Jessica started with Valley United Insurance Agency in July 2014. She currently serves as Owner and Benefits Consultant as of January 2026.

She works on small and large employer group business.

She received her Bachelors Degree in Business from Northwood University, is a Bay Area Chamber of Commerce member, Saginaw Chamber of Commerce Member, and Leaders of Bay County Class of 2018 Alumni.

Julie Tacktor

Julie started with Valley United Insurance Agency in August of 2017.She currently serves as Owner and Benefits Consultant as of January 1, 2026.

Brian Huggins

Agent and Benefits Consultant

Brian Huggins has worked with Valley United Insurance since 1987 and has served as the President of the company for the last 25 years working with local community employer groups and individuals.

He currently serves as a Licensed Agent for Medicare and Individuals along with sharing his wealth of knowledge to our staff.

Deb Neilson

Licensed Agent

Deb Neilson joined Valley United Insurance in 2003 and brought a wealth of knowledge from her position as Account Manager with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Deb has more than 30 years of experience in health care and is extremely well respected in the industry. She is a State of Michigan Licensed Agent and is designated as an Advanced Certified Chartered Benefits Consultant. Deb specializes in the large group market assisting fully-insured, experience rated and self-insured customers. Deb’s book of business is very well diversified as she works with governmental entities such as Counties, Townships and Transportation Authorities as well as many different industries in the private sector.

Arick McCoy

Agent

Arick joined our team in 2026 and works with Brian on Medicare and Individuals.

My name is Arick McCoy, and I was born and raised in the small town of Beaverton, Michigan. My small-town roots have shaped the foundation of how I build relationships with my clients: I do what I say and say what I mean. I firmly believe that integrity is the cornerstone of trust; after all, a man is only as good as his word.
For over 12 years, I worked in healthcare, where I developed a deep appreciation for serving others. During that time, I noticed a consistent gap in people’s understanding of their insurance coverage — and that realization inspired the next step in my career. Today, I help individuals secure reliable coverage and guidance they can count on, especially as they navigate the important decisions of retirement planning.
My wife Heather and I live in Midland, where we’re raising our two children. In my free time, I enjoy golfing on Michigan’s beautiful courses, as well as hunting and fishing across the state’s great outdoors. I am also an avid sports and live music fan.

Amanda joined the Valley United Insurance team in 2019. She is a Licensed Agent with the State of Michigan and our Office Manager.

Melissa Walton Loubert

Melissa Walton Loubert is a licensed Life & Health Insurance Producer in the state of Michigan, specializing in group employee benefits, client relationship management, and personalized enrollment strategies. She joined the Valley United team in 2026.

With a strong foundation in benefits education and client service, Melissa brings a thoughtful, solutions-focused approach to supporting both employers and employees. She is known for her ability to simplify complex benefit offerings, guide individuals through informed decisions, and deliver a seamless, high-touch customer experience.

Melissa’s background includes extensive experience in group benefits enrollment, employee education, and account support, allowing her to effectively manage client relationships, coordinate with carriers, and ensure smooth renewal and service processes.
